Ernesto Chavarro

I was born and raised in Colombia, South America. I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old, played all through my school years. Since High School, I've played as a striker (number 9), and also in College. I went to the world cup in Mexico 1986 with my parents - a dream come true!

I have been living in the United States since 2003 and soccer has always been present in my life; playing recreational levels and coaching for fun a couple of times with my niece's team, The Ramonas. We ended up in second place at a tournament at Florida International University. About two years ago I decided to study soccer to learn the sport from a different perspective. I completed soccer business fundamentals at Johan Cruyff Institute and also gained my soccer licenses to coach. Shortly after, I joined the San Francisco Vikings.

Soccer is my passion and I will strive to be a better coach day by day at the field.

Currently, I'm working on a Introductory level course at the Barça Coach Academy.
