SFVSC Girls U15/U16 2012-2013 Travel Team Tryouts!

SFVSC Breakers Red will be holding tryouts for U15 and U16 players. The tryouts will be at our practices on Tues March 20th and Friday March 23rd from 5-6:30 at the Polo Fields.

Breakers Red

The SFVSC Breakers Red is currently a U14 Girls team playing in the CCSL Bronze North Division. Last year the team was in the CCSL Copper Division, but after an undefeated Spring season, were promoted to the Bronze North Division. In the winter we play in the Jose Coronado Futsal League run by SF Park & Rec.

Our players have been playing together for 3 years, and come from various schools throughout SF and the Peninsula. This team is a fun-loving group of girls who really enjoy the game, and want to improve their skills on the pitch. The training sessions emphasize individual skills as well as team tactics. Breakers Red players have one collaborative practice per week together with the Breakers Black team, which is currently an Upper House team (and will most likely become a CCSL Copper Division team in the Fall 2012).

The team plays Fall, Winter and Spring seasons, and participates in 3-4 tournaments per year. This year we played in the Fall D2 Cup, GGI, and Spring D2 Cup. Last summer we played in the Santa Cruz Beach Soccer tournament.

We will have the same coach in season 2012-2013, Coach Fernando Picazo.
