Fall 2011 playing league: CCSL

The SFVSC Valkyries G02 Reds are a new team for the Club at this age group.  The team formed after tryouts and has talented, hardworking, and enthusiastic players who aim to improve their technical and tactical skills at a very high level.

The Reds competed in the very competitive CCSL Coast league Bronze A bracket for the Fall 2011 season. 

The girls have worked hard during the fall and winter to gel as a first year team and have shown great improvement.  They tied for first in the District 2 Fall Cup in November. In December the team competed in the Association Cup reaching the finals.  After going undefeated in-group play, the Reds lost in a very emotional and exciting over-time final 1-2.

The team is currently playing Futsal during the winter season and is currently undefeated with 3 wins.
