Hurricanes Red is in its third year together as a team. They are currently a U12 team. They have played 3 seasons per year: fall, winter, and spring, and have also optionally participated in the Rec and Park 7v7 league during the summer. 

They participate in 3-6 tournaments a year, although a couple are optional. These tournaments include various big venues such as the Magic Cup, the D2 Cup, the Juventus Cup, and the State Cup.  Optional tournaments have included Futsal Regionals, Futsal Nationals, the Santa Cruz Beach soccer tournament, the San Francisco Beach soccer tournament, and the Earthquakes 4v4 tournament.  

In its first year as a U10 team, the Hurricanes Red team won the CYSA Redwood Red division, and were finalists in their very first attempt at the Association Cup.  Each winter for three consecutive winters, the team has split into two teams for Futsal where they have won and also taken the second place title. Over the past two winters, they have been playing Futsal one age division older. They finished 3rd in their very first Futsal National tournament. 

Last year, the team decided to try beach soccer, where they made it to the semi-finals in Santa Cruz.  They went on this past fall to win the San Francisco Beach soccer tournament.  They also participated in the Earthquakes 4v4 tournament this past year, where they finished in 2nd place. This past fall, the Hurricanes Red team played in the CCSL Gold division, where they finished in 2nd place overall.
