San Francisco Vikings Soccer Club

Marieke enters her second year as coach for the San Francisco Vikings Soccer Club and her first as the head coach of the SFVSC Spartans U19 girls travel team. 

A native of San Francisco, Marieke grew up playing for Vikings and ODP where she honed her skills before attending San Francisco State University where she played and earned a BA in Creative Writing. Following a successful college career, Marieke continued to pursue her love for the game as a member of the San Francisco Nighthawks semi-professional women’s team of the WPSL for five years.

 

Coach Blazeski holds her E/D license and is still an active player in the GGSL with the Celtic Ramblers. She is looking forward to transitioning more time into coaching where she can continue to pass along the extensive knowledge she has gained as a lifelong player.
