The SF Vikings is a proud partner of the SF Elite Academy program. SF Elite provides the only National Premier League playing opportunity in San Francisco for U14 age players and older.  The US Development Academy is offered for male players U12 and older. The  SF Vikings is the main feeder club for SF Elite. At SF Vikings, we develop kids at an early age and graduate our best players to join this prestigious Academy.  They are the only club in the city to provide the highest level of competition, in which they train up to three times a week to compete in the most prestigious tournaments in the state.

Mission Statement

The foundation of the San Francisco Vikings' Select Team Program is to develop the whole player. Our coaches provide an environment that encourages each player to achieve their highest potential, both as an individual and as a member of a team.

Through the spirit of cooperation and competition, our program fosters the physical and mental development that is necessary to excel at soccer in a healthy character-building environment that combines fun and excellence for youth soccer players year-round.

How does San Francisco Vikings compare to other clubs?

SF Vikings has existed for over 90 years because its members are passionate about soccer. We are constantly seeking to improve training efficiency and focus on providing a pathway for individual player develpment from microsoccer to the highest level available in San Francisco, the NPL teams in SF Elite Academy. SF Vikings believes that collaboration is a key component for success, and our teams work together and share coaches so that players have opportunities to move up or down to find the appropriate level of challenge.

The Vikings Club held its Annual General Meeting  at the County Fair Building at 7:15pm on May 12th, 2015

The County Fair Building is located in Golden Gate Park, at 9th Ave & Lincoln Ave and the meeting is in the Auditorium

This was an  opportunity for our parents, coaches and board members to all get together and share ideas about the Club, and how we can continue to improve our training and service to the members.

In particular I know many of you are confused about the playing leagues options available for our teams and Jim Feuille, board member and coach, will provide an overview of the youth soccer in Northern California.
