He played in Argentina 1995 with Colon de Santa Fe and with German Bundesliga: 1993-1995 on Vfl Bochum, 1. F.C. Saarbruecken, and Rot-Weiss Erfurt. Zak has been a member of the United States National Teams: Under 20 National Team, U.S.A. Olympic Team - Barcelona 1992 and U.S.A. Senior National Team - 12 Caps.
