Zak has Major League Soccer playing experience with the San Jose Earthquakes: 2001-2003, Los Angeles Galaxy: 1999-2001, Chicago Fire: 1998, Dallas Burn: 1996-1997 and the New England Revolution: 1996 . He played in Argentina 1995 with Colon de Santa Fe and with German Bundesliga: 1993-1995 on Vfl Bochum, 1. F.C. Saarbruecken, and Rot-Weiss Erfurt. Zak has been a member of the United States National Teams: Under 20 National Team, U.S.A. Olympic Team - Barcelona 1992 and U.S.A. Senior National Team - 12 Caps. His Key Accomplishments include 2 M.L.S. Cup Championships - Chicago Fire 1998 & San Jose Earthquakes 2001. Additional accomplishments include 1 U.S. Open Cup Championship - Chicago Fire 1998, 1 CONCACAF Champions League Championship - L.A. Galaxy 2001, NCAA National Championship - UCLA 1990, McGwire Cup Under 19 National Championship - Finals M.V.P. and U.S.A. National Beach Soccer Team - Captain. Zak's coaching experience includes: Assistant Coach of Men's Soccer team at University of California: Berkeley and Assistant Coach of Men's and Women's Soccer at University of California: Santa Cruz.
