Lisa is the current head coach of the SFVC Hurricanes GU10 Select team, who were in their first year of competitive soccer, this past fall. She is in her sixth year of coaching youth soccer at various ages and organizations, from U5 to U14 girls and boys teams. She is also an active member of the Board of Vikings Recreational league as Co-Vice President of Referees. Notable in achievements this past year is that the newly formed Hurricanes team won their Redwood division, and will be promoted to Division I play in the coming fall. The team also played in the Association Cup, where they went to the finals and placed second. Lisa joined the Viking Club last year, in order to focus more on promoting the development of girls in competitive soccer. She believes that having more women coaching in a club environment will help provide positive, strong role models for youth, and will help encourage girls to take on more leadership roles in their communities as they prepare for young adulthood.
