Coach Jeffrey Wilson began his coaching career as an assistant men's coach at San Francisco State University following the completion of his playing career for the Gators in 1994. After obtaining his California Teaching Credential from San Jose State University, Wilson was hired as a full time teacher/counselor and assistant soccer coach at Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory in 1998. Since becoming the varsity coach in 2000, the Figthin' Irish have continued to improve each year. As a testament to the growth of the program, his 2002-2003 team culminated their season with an invitation to the CCS championships, the first such in school history.

In addition to coaching at SHCP, Jeffrey is currently a California Youth Soccer Association Coaching Instructor, an Olympic Development Program (ODP) Cal North State team Head Boy's Coach (currently '95 Boy's). Prior coaching positions include serving as an Assistant Men's Coach at Skyline College for five years, and with the youth of San Francisco as the coach of the SFVC Glens U-12 traveling team and of the 2005 CYSA and US Club State Champion San Francisco Chivas.

Coach Wilson's credentials include a FIFA-recognized United States Soccer Federation (USSF) National "A" License, the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Premier Diploma, and the recipient of the prestigious Cal North's 2005 District 1 Boy's Coach of the Year.
