San Francisco Vikings Soccer Club Elite Skills Camp

Summer Speciality Camps focusing on Striker, Defender and Goalie Development

The Viking Soccer Club, would like to invite anyone ages 11-15 to participate in fun-filled, but serious skill academy sessions this summer to be run by Jeff Wilson, the current Director of Coaching for the San Francisco Viking Soccer Club. Each week the academy is designed to improve the tactical and technical ability of each player. Every session will focus on each player developing a better understanding of the importance of utilizing proper individual attacking and defending skills, shooting/finishing to goal, transition, as well as intelligent possession exercises that emphasize improving speed of play and decisions making at speed. Specific Goalkeeping Training will also be offered to all interested players.

Times: 4:30 - 6:30pm

Ages Eligible: 11 - 15 year-olds

Location: South Sunset Field, 40th and Wawona

Cost: $125 per session

Session Dates:

  • Session 1: July 26th - July 30th
  • Session 2: August 2nd - August 6th
  • Session 3: August 9th - August 13th
  • Session 4: August 16th - August 20th

Coaching Information:

All session will be designed and implemented by Jeff Wilson and staff. Coach Wilson is currently the boys varsity soccer coach at Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory as well as a California Youth Soccer Association Coaching Instructor and an Olympic Development Program (ODP) Cal North State team Head Boy's Coach (currently '95 Boys). Prior coaching positions include serving as an Assistant Men's Coach at San Francisco State University, Skyline College and as head coach for San Francisco youth competitive teams.

Coach Wilson's credentials include a FIFA-recognized United States Soccer Federation (USSF) National "A" License, the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Premier Diploma, and the recipient of the prestigious Cal North's 2005 District 1 Boy's Coach of the Year and the 2009-2010 Central Coast Section Honor Award for Boys Soccer.
