2010 Vikings Soccer Club Skills Academy

The U8 - U11 Vikings Soccer Academy is a developmental soccer program designed for and open to U8 - U11 San Francisco Vikings League recreational players. The purpose of the Academy is to provide soccer players with a high quality training program. Training and curriculum is overseen by Jeff Wilson, Director of Coaching with the Vikings Travel Club. The Academy is designed for boys and girls who love soccer and are looking for developmental opportunities in addition to their practices with their fall team. The Academy is looking for players who are committed to developing their soccer skills and are mentally and emotionally ready to benefit from a structured technical training environment.

DATES: Sept 6 - November 10 = 5 training sessions per age group, 1 training session per week.

  • U8's: Thursday afternoons, 4:00 - 5:30pm, 9/9, 9/23, 10/7, 10/21, 11/4, field: Christopher (in upper Noe/Diamond Heights)
  • U9's: Thursday afternoons, 4:00 - 5:30pm, 9/16, 9/30, 10/14, 10/28, 11/11, field: Christopher (in upper Noe/Diamond Heights)
  • U10's: Monday afternoons, 5:30 - 7:00pm, 9/6, 9/20, 10/4, 10/18, 11/1, field: Kimball
  • U11's: Monday afternoons, 5:30 - 7:00pm, 9/13, 9/27, 10/11, 10/25, 11/8, field: Kimball

    • COST: $100 per child for 5 sessions

    TRAINERS: Jeff Wilson and coaches that he has worked with and hired. Ratio: 1:10, trainer to player ratio.

    WHAT TO BRING: Participants should bring a soccer ball, water bottle, cleats, shin guards, sweatshirt

    HOW DO I REGISTER? To register, please complete this online form and submit payment to the Vikings Office (Attn: Skills Academy, 2521 Judah Street, San Francisco, CA 94122)

    Due to space constraints, the Academy is limited to 80 players per session. Online registration and payment is due to the Vikings office by June 3rd. First come, first served, teams welcome.
